Reduce engineer exposure. Guide follow-on forces. Digitize cleared lanes.
Stakes, tape, cones, chem lights, and poles. Every one of them requires a Soldier to work exposed in a breach lane.
Then smoke, dust, and darkness swallow the markers, and the formation behind slows, drifts, and clogs cleared lanes.

Each marker emits multi-spectral light and reports its position to TAK, giving commanders a shared view of lane location and status and remote control of marker signatures. TAK visualization has been demonstrated in Army field experimentation. Integration into operational TAK environments is in development.
Reduces dismounted exposure at the point of greatest risk.
Accelerates passage through the breach.
Enables precise maneuver inside the cleared lane.
More combat power reaches the objective.
Soldiers, engineers, commanders, and acquisition stakeholders consistently identified the same gap.
Selected for DIU's national-security commercialization program, carrying non-dilutive funding and transition support.
Visible/IR, networking, and TAK demonstrated at NTC. Thermal demonstrated through Bradley optics at Fort Hood.
